Recently, the "Human-Machine Integration Smart Robot -- Shaanxi Provincial University Engineering Research Center" unveiling ceremony was held at Xi'an University of Technology. The center is co-constructed with the support of Xi'an University of Technology, Northwest Construction Co., Ltd. of China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd., Dataa Robotics and Electrical Engineering Limited Company of China Railway First Group and other enterprises. Participants from various departments conducted full technical exchanges on industrial needs and key technologies, and reached a number of cooperative intentions in smart buildings and smart education. As a representative, Wang Bin, vice president of Dataa Robotics participated in the unveiling ceremony and exchange meeting.

At the meeting, Professor Hei Xinhong, director of the Academic Affairs Office of Xi'an University of Technology and deputy director of the Technical Committee of Shaanxi University Engineering Research Center for Human-Machine Integration Intelligent Robots, said that "With the continuous maturity of technologies such as AI, 5G, and new materials, the connection between robots and buildings industry application scenarios is also getting closer. How to focus on the intelligent, digital, and low-cost direction of smart construction robots, explore how to play a good role in boosting the smart construction of buildings, as well as solving the difficulty of recruiting workers in the construction industry , labor shortage problem, and improving work efficiency and construction quality. It is hoped that based on the platform of the Engineering Research Center, multi-disciplinary cross-integration, industry-university-research integration will be done well, and the economic development of Shaanxi Province will be boosted.

Representatives from China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Corp., Ltd. and China Railway First Bureau Group Electric Engineering Co., Ltd. also gave suggestions on the intelligent upgrade of traditional industries such as construction and rail transit.
