From March 31 to April 2, the 3rd National Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Key Technologies was held in Wuhu, Anhui Province, the theme of which is "intelligence, innovation, and ecology, attracting nearly 700 college leaders from 400 colleges and universities and teachers. At the conference, universities and enterprises demonstrated the latest scientific research results and applications of artificial intelligence and robotics, which promoted exchanges between schools and enterprises, cooperation of industry, schools and research, and the transformation of technological achievements.
The conference was co-sponsored by Zhongguancun Zhiyoutianshi AI and Robot Research Institute, "Robot Technology and Application" magazine and other enterprises and co-organized by the AI School of Anhui Polytechnical University, with the guidance and support of Technical Committee on Robot, Chinese Association of Automation and the Intelligent Robot Committee of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence.
As the creator, producer, technology leader and operator of cloud intelligent robots, Dadaa Robotics has brought products such as humanoid intelligent robot Cloud Ginger XR-1, smart compliant actuator SCA 2.0, dual-arm robot M3, and desktop-level six-axis robotic arm to join the exhibition. At the same time, Wang Bin, vice president of Dadaa Robotics was invited to participate in the forum meeting, delivered a keynote speech on "HARIX Cloud Robot Education Application Practice", and made a speech for the conference dinner as a company representative.
Wang Bin said that, as a national team enterprise in the field of AI + robotics (in July 2022, the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China officially approved the establishment of a new generation of National AI open innovation platform for cloud robot), Dadaa Robotics has the capability and responsibility to cooperate with universities, eco partners to promote the innovative practice of cloud robots. In order to promote the ("Robot +" Application Implementation Plan) of 17 departments including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Education, Dadaa Robotics centered on the "1+3+2" education plan (one campus cloud brain, three practice centers, and two types of innovation displays) and conducted the "Robot + new generation artificial intelligence" innovative demonstration campus construction.
Among them, a campus cloud brain can provide an open platform, computing power support, interdisciplinary integration, integrated development environment, open source data sharing, and open software and hardware interfaces for artificial intelligence teaching and research in universities. Three practice centers include majors in computer-oriented, software engineering, artificial intelligence, big data, and electronic information. The "Artificial Intelligence Engineering Practice Center" revolves around robot algorithms and applications; for majors in robotics, automation, machinery, intelligent manufacturing, and electronic engineering, the "Cloud Robot DIY Project" centers on robot hardware "Practice Center" and "Metaverse Engineering Practice Center" for interdisciplinary digital humans and digital twin. Two types of innovation displays are the "Robot +" campus application results display and the Metaverse campus application results display. Through the construction of "robot + new generation AI" innovative demonstration campus, the integration of AI and robot teaching, scientific research and practice in schools and achieved the cooperation with dozens of colleges.
At the conference, Cloud Ginger XR-1, a humanoid intelligent robot based on 34 flexible joints SCA, interacted and danced with the participants. Ginger has multiple functions such as precise motion, visual feedback capture, flexible safety perception and RobotGPT multi-modal interaction, which can meet the needs of diversified service scenarios such as commercial promotion, program performance, auxiliary health care, education and scientific research, etc.
As a standardized product integrating "communication + computing + sensing + power", the smart compliant acuator SCA 2.0 has constructed products such as the dual-arm robot M3 and the desktop-level six-axis robotic arm. In addition, the SCA 2.0 is widely used in various fields, such as humanoid robots, powered exoskeleton devices, special robots, machining industries, precision machinery and instruments, transportation vehicles, medical special equipment, etc. It can also be used in smart medical care, AGV smart warehousing, precision machine tools, smart agriculture and many other emerging fields.
