On April 7, 2023,  the large-scale IP event, the third "China Automobile Festival" award ceremony hosted by China Central Radio and Television, planned and organized by CCTV2 , was broadcast on CCTV Financial Channel and CNR Business Radio, and financial news media channel simultaneously. The humanoid robot "Ginger" from Dataa Robotics was invited to participate in the award ceremony, showing the charm of science and technology and bringing a novel AI experience to the ceremony.

During the ceremony, the humanoid robot came to the scene as the intelligent experience officer of the "Automobile Metaverse" and interacted with the host in real time. Besides enriching the awards with new elements, it also vividly interpreted the meaning of the "Smart IoT” and “Smart Driving” awards, and created a technological and cordial visual feast for everyone.

In addition, as the assstant guest, Ginger also performed a group dance with other humanoid robots. The ten robots danced with the three singers to the music of the song "Mountain and River Map". Their movements were flexible and uniform while the music combines the popular elements of opera and modern dance, and the real-time collision of tradition and technology makes the whole program refreshing and full of technological sense.

It is really not easy for multiple robots to perform and dance synchronously for the complex factors on site, where multiple communication signals are interlaced, and the anti-interference is far more complicated than other scenarios. Therefore, it not only brings a lot of challenges to communication technology but also comes up with extremely high requirements for the robot's battery life, movement ability and learning ability. However, based on the strong technical capabilities of Dataa Robotics, the "Gingers" have shown excellent professionalism.

At the rehearsal of this ceremony,  CCTV also conducted an exclusive interview with Wang Bin, vice president of Dataa Robotics, and broadcast it on programs such as "First Time", "World Finance", "Economic News", "Punctual Finance", etc.

Ginger was selected by CCTV as a guest performer because it has won the China Red Star Design Award. The humanoid robot has a graceful humanoid figure and a beautiful face like a star. It is a well-deserved appearance in the current humanoid robot market. It has 34 world-leading smart compliant actuators (SCA) all over the body, covering the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, waist, knees, and chassis. Unlike industrial robots, it has safe and flexible interaction capabilities, makes anthropomorphic movements and gestures. It can also sing and dance well, maintain body balance and own the ability of intelligent grasping, autonomous walking, and automatic obstacle avoidance.

But more importantly, thanks to the empowerment of the Dataa cloud brain, multiple robots can complete the joint dance, and enable the good interaction between the host and the robot. For example, the robot first learns movements and skills from a dance teacher, and then reproduces the real environment in the virtual world of the cloud brain, allowing the robot to quickly complete the learning of dance movements. The fluent dialogue and language adaptation with the host is also based on the multi-modal cloud intelligent service developed by Dadaa Robotics and combined with GPT. In addition to AI capabilities such as artificially enhanced smart vision, smart voice and smart motion, it will also be empowered with more powerful autonomous cognition, intelligent decision-making and behavioral performance. Besides, it can continue to prompt learning based on artificial feedback reinforcement learning and make rapid intelligent leaps, so that robots connected to the cloud brain can not only talk and communicate like humans, it can also work in various scenarios like a human, such as welcoming guests, guiding the tour, delivering goods, interacting, accompanying, and man-machine collaboration.
